Fresh Water Flush Setup

What are y'all using for a fresh water flushing system? I saw the Perko flush valve but hate that its plastic. I was thinking about making my own from some brass fittings and valves, but I would like to see what your using.

I already have the fake-a-lake. I was looking for a solution that I could mount in the motor box thats inline with the cooling hose.

What engine do you have?

I have a Perko and have had no issues the last two years. I ran a short piece of hose from the Perko valve up into the starboard storage locker so I can easily connect my garden hose without crawling into the compartment.

I have a Marine Power 5.7. I was looking at the Perko setup, but hate that it is plastic. The Perko also has many bad reviews about it cracking.
