So I wanted to try the Hula Wipe Out vinyl cleaner since I see so many good reviews about it until I tried to order the 16oz bottle and they wanted over $20 for shipping...what's up with that???

That being a ground item and a small box is most likely just the shippers way of getting a "handling" fee or they are selling the item cheap so make up for it with a hefty charge and can push the blame on the shipping company when it is actually a handling fee. Most companies charge for it and some more than others. I can tell you that the shipping company isn't charging that.
Hula does offer free shipping and other % off deals from time to time. You might email them and they will give you the code.
