    Always Docked

Lots of info about care for your boat everytime it is pulled out of the water. What about when your boat stays in the water all summer? Do you need to do anything special to protect the gelcoat before you put it in the water? What about when you pull it out?

It you leave your boat in the water for extend periods you run the risk fof the boat getting blisters. It would be a good idea to pull the boat out weekly and clean the funk off the bottom.

      Alternatives?

Are there any good alternatives to pulling the boat out once a week?
Paint the hull with some protective coat that will last all summer?
Or, snorkel under the boat and just wipe it while in the water?

You could paint it with bottom paint if you want to. If it was a new boat I sure would hate to do that. Maybe to an old fishing boat. Might hurt the resale.
