    Blower vent stern and duct

    Hello,

I am new to the forum. Just bought a 1998 pre2200 wt. I am doing a repair on the blower because the ducts are are crumbling and falling apart. When I chased down the rear duct that connects to the starboard rear vent, it is routed through two places that kinks and is so constricted that the duct is nearly closed off. Once behind the gas tank, and once again coming up through the floor of the ski compartment. I am attaching a pic of the constriction behind the gas tank. This doesn't make sense to me. Is this the correct routing of the forced blower exhaust?

Do I really just buy a new duct and force it through/flatten it? And does anyone know a good source for the duct?

    Thank you.
    Ben

I know it routes thru there but haven't ever paid attention to see if its flattened. Here's the best pic I have from when I changed anti siphon valve out. Far as duct just your local marine supply should have it.

Ruger761, is that 3in duct or 2in duct? I understand 3in is standard but I just don't see how it fits without flattening it out where you have it pictured. Maybe my tank is closer to the transom wall than yours.

It's a 3in duct but I think mine has a little more room like you were saying
