I have a thread on here somewhere when I did mine last summer when I bought the boat. Thats all I did was sand it down really good and start staining it. It looked awesome but I piled like 4 coats on in one hot day, and it faded pretty quick. I bought the high dollar teak oil this year and redid it a few months ago and let it dry a few days in between coats this time. I plan to do one or 2 more before the season starts and I put it back onAin't no 1/2 steppin'

I second Bryce's opinion.
Nothing beats sanding off the dried teak and applying multiple coats of teak oil allowing a good amount of time between coats depending on temperature etc.
As for brand of teak oil, I wouldn't worry much about this as there are less that 10 manufacturers of teak oil in the US and they package for all the brands.
Just remember slow and steady with the oil to allow it to penetrate as much of the teak as possible.
Hope this helpsWhat Rocks Your Boat?

A good old fashioned pressure washing to get all the crud off. Once clean and dry, coat it with teak oil until it stops soaking it up.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More
