I recently bought a 22ve and was wondering how often I should wax it. We wipe it down and spray exterior with vinegar and water (per the dealer recommendations) and use soap and water for the interior. Just want to keep this baby in top condition! How often should I wax, what brands are best, hand wax or machine buff- any suggestions would be awesome! Thanks in advance

How often to wax?

We abandoned the vinegar and opted for the Simple Green. Easy to prepare in multiple spray bottles and doesn't have the distint oder. I find with the simple green it is easier for me to recruit spray helpers. My dealer recommended the spray wax which has been successful for us to keep wax on the hull and trailer. Depending on the season dictates how and when we give it a proper detailing with hand wax.

I have heard wax it at the beginning of the season and again at the end. I use Meguiars products.

I just discovered a new wax called Klasse. It's imported from Germany and easiest to find if ordered over the internet. Applying it is as easy wiping it on with a wet rag and wiping it off a minute later. It can also be used on your car. It removes any watermarks that may find their way on the boat so it ends up leaving a great shine.

I was told to stay away from wax, because of its low tolerence to heat. I went to a polish. with that new nano technology that way it keeps the oils in the paint, which it turn protects and shines. I use a product called driven, heres there web site, driventoperfection.com.Building memories one river trip at a time

Klasse is probably similar to the Driven polish. Here is a link for some info on it.
