Cooling water level

Hi Tigeowners

I have a 2002 Tige 21 i Type r with 5.7 ski engine. My question is how do i make sure i got the right level of water/coolant on my system? I can't seem to find any min max marks on the fresh water container.

Do you really have a fresh water cooled engine in that boat? If so, the overflow bottle should be marked at about 2" for minimum and 6" for max. The min level is when the engine is cold and max when it's hot. I question that only because most of the engines from Mercruiser in those year Tiges are raw water cooled.

Its a mix of raw water and fresh water cooling.
