    New Hula Boat Care products

    Coming soon.

    Gnarly Water Spot Remover +
This fruit acid based cleaner removes dried on water spots while being Eco friendlly and not strip wax.
The + is for a healthy dose of polymer that fortifies the wax on the surface while leaving the surface slick.
It is safe for fiberglass, rub, rails, bright work and windscreens.

Limited fielded testing is now in progress.

    I will post pictures soon.

I am one of the lucky field testers, and can tell you that I like it a lot. I was hoping to put together some pics and write a review today of all the Hula stuff I used recently, but it looks like it will have to wait for a little while. But I can say that I was super impressed by it all, especially the new water spot remover.

I am SUPER ANAL RETENTIVE when it comes to keeping my boat clean and free of water spots. Here at Possum Kingdom Lake we have horribly hard water w/ salt in it, which is a nightmare when scrubbing the waterspots off. I would love to be a field tester to let you know if your product works in the harshest conditions.

This is great news! I ran out of Hot Sauce a month or two ago and started trying various quick detailers. I found a deal on a gallon of Hot Sauce on Amazon a week or so ago and ordered it. It took me all of 1 trip to remember that I really don't like it! It just takes too much work to walk away with a streak free shine.

I've been using Hula Boat Care's Wipe Out Vinyl Care & Conditioner and love it! I've also used the Big Kahuna Polymer Sealant and have been very happy with it.

Can this water spot remover be used as a detailer? I normally spray the boat with a foam gun and then give it a quick wash down, rinse and then dry it while using a spray detailer.

            Gentlemen,
I appreciate your interest in this new product.

I have 6 maybe 8 bottles available for testing.

If you are interested please PM me your contact info and I will be happy to ship you a 16 oz sample. Pictures an written feedback would be expected as I want to know how I may need to improve it if any.

This product is not designed to replace a spray detailer as it offers more cleaning and less polymer protection than Surf Away Spray Detailer.

            Many thanks to the volunteers...

I have my volunteers... thanks for your interest and I will be shipping out the samples by early next week.

I will be posting a picture of before and after of a boat that I tested on recently that was heavily water spotted from our wonderful Lake Travis.

I appreciate you all for helping out.

It was hard to do but I purposely left some water spots on the boat so I could test this product out. This is from water in Utah at two different lakes. The water there is hard and the one has mineral stuff in it that really makes the water spots a pain. Also from a lake in Colorado. The spots have sat for a month now.

I used the Gnarly Water Spot remover and a micro fiber towel. I sprayed the product on and gave it about 10 - 20 seconds, instructions say 30 - 60 but I really wanted to test it. And wiped it off. Very little pressure. I have the before and afters.

For an extreme test I have the FAE and for some reason it gets a build up on it that won't wipe off. You can see from my before that I have tried getting it off but it doesn't do much. I typically at the end of the year hit it hard with different things and scrub like crazy. I sprayed some Gnarly Water Spot remover on it and waited about 30 seconds and wiped it off with the same microfiber towel, no scrubbing. I was surprised. I could do a better job but it is in my garage and I barely have any remove to get to it.

It works just as well on the gel coat my camera just doesn't pick up the before and after very well in my garage.

There is no nasty smell to this product and in my opinion it worked awesome.

No, that difference is AMAZING on the FAEthanks for the write up and Pic's
I used the earlier HULA products this spring with very good results but have not tried the Gnarly Spot Remover, Looks like it works great

Some have asked me if it strips the wax. Since I was just testing I asked John at Hula.

Here is the response - This product is a fruit acid based liquid that has the right pH to remove water spot and not wax. In addition it has a good does of polymers that are acid resistant and fortifies the wax that is already on the surface.
