How do you remove the floor panel? Need to investigate a leak somewhere. Also where can I get replacement hinge rods (shocks?)? Has anyone put rods in the forward lockers? Seems like a good idea and are on newer boats.

You first need to pull the rear seat "box". there are 5-6 screws in the carpet strip along the floor. Remove the strip to expose 3 more. next, there is on on each side of the seat box holding it to the side seat bases. There are typically easier to reach by climbing in the rear locker. They may just be screws, but they could be phillip head bolts with 7/16 nuts. Lift the seat box out and then the floor tilts up from the back to the front. it may be tight, but I do not think its bolted on an 05.

Just an FYI, once you remove the floor panel you can't really see anything because that's where the gas tank sits.Comment
