    John,

I took the hula vinyl cleaner with me on my buddies boat last weekend as it is dirty enough to give it good run. I only had a microfiber towel and did not bring a brush. I did some cleaning as we were waiting at hula hut dock for evryone to show up. First everyone on the boat hated the leather scent so I am glad to hear that is changing. No one thought it smelled bad just didn't fit with a boat cleaner. I normally use totally awesome on very dirty vinyl, then Exquisite, then aerospace 303 protectant. On regularly cleaned vinyl just exquisite and aerospace. Your product seemed to have a great amount of conditioning ability and was a good cleaner but was not to effective on the neglected areas. Again I did not have a brush. I think this okay as I have always hoped a single bottle product that would clean, condition, and protect to be used regularly to keep the vinyl in top condition. The other issue we found is the vinyl was very slippery when wet after applying and I applied as we were going out. I believe it soaked in later in the day but by then my judgement was off.

For a after each use type product the cleaning power seems good and it seems you have done well with the conditioners and uv protectant but only time can prove that out. A new scent would be awesome. I will keep testing and provide more updates.

Perhaps adding a vinyl, restore type product that is a super strong cleaner for neglected vinyl along side the current product which if used used regularly keeps your vinyl in top condition is good approach to the market? This may be better than a all in one type product. Just an idea.

Thank you so much for the Sammples and I look forward to trying them all.

      Hey 4bw

      I appreciate the insight.

Be sure to shake the bottle of Wipe Out real well before use.
If you want to boost the cleaning performance, I would suggest using a magic eraser with Wipe Out which is what several detailers around Austin are doing.

As this is desgined to be a maintenance item, I will consider adding just a cleaner to the line.

Feel free to post pictures of the vinyl or your boat once you get it waxed.

Used vinyl cleaner tonight and I must say at this point for my vinyl cleaner I will still use the babes.. I really want a great cleaner and protectant in one bottle.. I did get to use the spray down cleaner for the gel coat and its GREAT! Cleans as good as the vinager but leaves a nice wax finish and dont take much to get the job done.. The wipe down cleaner Is a MILLION times better than Boat Bling Hot sauce!

John whats this product run for a gallon? I applied the wax and looks good going to see how it does after a run in the water!

I used the Hula vinyl cleaner with only a micro fiber cloth also and was pleased with the results. It worked just as well as Boat Blings vinyl sauce which is what I usually use, it does seem like it has protectant with it. I do like going over the vinyl with boat blings condition sauce because I like the feel of it and it has seemed to protect my interior over the years.

All in all I would give it a high grade for cleaning, there were some marks that it did not remove with the towel but I think they will come off with a soft brush. And My BB Vinyl sauce would not remove those marks either.

I have not had a chance to use the Hula hull cleaner yet but will report back when I do. Thanks for the Samples again John!

That is simply with a magic eraser and Hula Wipe Out. There is no wipe and be gone solution. It's about maintaing if that's the point you want to get to. Or, call a boat detailer

And Simple Green will dry your seats out and cause them to crack leading to reupohlstering as well. Babes is a TWO steps process of cleaning and then conditioning which in my mind is more work than a one step?!?!?!

I read somewhere, that the magic eraser is bad for vinyl? I've never used one enough to prove it though...
                            Waiting for another good one!
