AGM Battery onboard battery maintainer

I just had to replace 2 AGM Lifeline batteries that were 1.5 years old! I have the Bass Pro Shop onboard battery maintainer, and it overcharged the batteries. It is set to the AGM setting, but the output was too much & it cooked them ($225 a piece!)
Anyone know who sells a good onboard charger for AGM batteries?

WHo makes the BPS branded charger anyway? What model was it? Have you talked to their tech-sup people? Just curious what they have to say.

I use one made by Schumacher. Guest, C-Tek and ProMariner are trusted brands as well.
