locker strut

freak... owned the boat a week and have a strut that has gone bad...haha oh well could be worse...

anyhow... anyone looking or ever needing a new or replacement you can order from the mfg that Tigé uses.

mine is a GSSX-5250-40

but you can order your lenght ext... from here. the last number signifies wieght.. I could only find a -45 so that is what I got for my new one.

Same thing happened to me. Did it strip/pull out of the cheap plastic fitting?
Rather than hassel with the warranty I found a replacement at a local AutoZone

it was even more odd... the strut just ceased and folded the center rod in half? BTW how do you like that 1235 prop on your boat.. mine came with the 537 but I have a 1235 that used to be on my moomba... just have not changed it yet.
