    Waxes

We are just picking up the 20v on the 14th or 15th, and before it goes in the water I want to get a protective coat on it so it doesnt get the stains, and to keep it looking showroom new. Do you have any tips as to the best products for this?

    Thanks,
    Justin

Thankyou very much for the information. I use meguiars on my car right now, and it keeps it looking awesome. I didnt know they made a marine line at all, or there wouldnt have even been a question in my mind as to what to use!!

      Thanks again

          #925 Fiberglass Boat Wax

Goes on easy and stays on all season for a wipe and shine deck, glistening topsides, and a super slippery bottom. Contains a special pure Carnauba wax formula proven in harsh industrial environments. It will easily shrug off scrubbing, scuffing, detergents, salt water and marine organisms...all year long.

i asked the guy at my boat supply shop about meguiars and he told me interesting story. for years he had been getting shipments of meguiars marine wax . one day another shipment came that didn't say "marine" on the bottle. it was the normal bottle of meguiars cleaner wax that you can get at any auto or retail store. he called the meguiars rep to swap them for marine wax. when the rep came, he just put stickers over the old bottles that said "meguiars marine wax".

I have always liked meguairs for cars but i thought there would be a different formula for fiberglass. who knows???

Thanks for the options. I think that the dealer down here sells collinite as their wax, so maybe I will try that. I have been hearing rave reviews about it!
