Could someone please tell me what oil I need to run in my 2006 mp 6 liter engine. Also what filter # do I need to get from Napa for the duel remote filters? Thank you.

I have read enough information on oil types and weights to be thoroughly confused, and to realize there are a lot of opinions, not all are nessicerily right or wrong. However I have found very little 6 liter information. Do they take different oil and filters than there 5.7 counterparts? Or does Marine Power use the same filters for all? Thanks.

15W-40 will the weight you need and I believe it's recommended to use synthetic in the 6.0L and i'm pretty sure the 6.0L with the dual remote filters use the same one that fits a typical small block GM (short one, but the tall will probably fit also).Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

well, what we tech see was this
they cut a sheet load of zinc out of the good oil, sine zinc is bad, blah blah blah
so at lower RPMS, the oil is so thin its getting past the rings, causing a very very minimal oil burn that shows up on piston tops and plugs
thats mainly it
the best is run the boat at WOT for a good 10 mins on the water before loading it upHUMAN BUILT = HUMAN FIXED
