    Teak Deck

When I bought my boat, the back deck was quite weather and looked more grey than the true brown that the teak show be.

I sanded the deck with a belt sander and then by hand. I got all the ugly grey off. I have put probably 5 or 6 coats of teak oil on the deck, but it looks flat. My last deck was near perfect with a great almost glossy finish to it.

I know the worst is a polyurathane or varathane, but my question is what kind/brand of teak oil does everyone use? I really want to get that glossy finish back?

    Thanks.

I used a power washer to get all the gray and grime off the teak swim platform in the fall. In the spring I put on several coats of Starbrite teak oil.
