    Inline Fuel Filter

OK, need some help here. the owners manual says to change the inline fuel filter for my 25 hour break in. so i removed the engine side panels and couldnt reach it, and then removed the top of the back seat and can see it through the access hole next to the transmission, but can only fit 1 arm down the hole. looks like i will neeed to get at it somehow else to swap it,how do i do this?
also, will fuel spray all over when i remove the old in line one? there has to be a trick here right?
    i have an 2009 22ve with ex343

Even though the manual says change at 25 hour service you don't need to unless you've been putting crap into your tank. We change fuel filters once a year or every 200 hours on most of our customers' boats unless they have a fuel related issue. Reaching it can be another story but I've got freakishly long arms so I can only say good luck.
Fixing everyone elses boat just so I can use mine...
