Can't go over 10 mph

When I am going slow my 2006 22v seems to be perfect but when I try to speed up my motor loses power and sputters ? Any hints first time in the water this year , full tank of gas from last year is that the problem .

My guess: High pressure fuel pump

I had this problem on my Marine Power 5.7, and it was a lose wire for the low pressure fuel pump.
(There is one wire that plugs on the very bottom of the fuel pump filter assembly. This wire just pushes on, make sure it snug. )
On my boat, if you let it ideal for awhile, the high-pressure pump could draw enough fuel into the filter to last a few minutes. Once it started to act up, that was it, you need to back down and wait or keep it at a low speed

When was the boat fueled up last year? Gas starts to loose its pep after 3 months.

I'd atart with the easy things first, and that would be the fuel. Did you have Stabil or Sea Foam or something in it to keep it from breaking down.

I did not add anything to my gas last year I had a new dealer winteriz my boat . Years before this a different dealer did my work and did that for me. How small is the wire to the bottom of the fuel pump .

I talked to the dealer and they say that they put additive in the gas . Went for drive after checking the wires no my fuel gages saying empty is was reading full ! Maybee It read full last season and it was empty when I winterized it does the boat have a limp mode if the fuel is low. I wish the boat elves just would have fixed it in my sleep.

No it does not die just no power and sputters if I leave the throtle down it might power again in 20 sec or so and powers down again

Since this was the 1st trip out since winterizing, i'm still thinking spoiled fuel. We are 6 months into this year alone, how long has this tank been in there. Even with a stabilizer, fuel will still spoil. The additive slows this down and helps prevent gumming/varnish and crystallising, but will not stop it.

One thing we dont know.....did the mechanic run the engine after adding the stabilizer, so it had a chance to reach the fuel rail and injectors, or did he just pour it in the tank?

The only other thing is could something be left off/undone from the winterization? Is it a Marine Power? Is the knock sensor connected?

Starboard side of the engine block below the exhaust manifold and to the front of the oil filter. On you engine, it's probably the block drain for that side, so getting left unplugged is an easy thing to do. If unplugged (or bad), the ECM will detect it and keep the engine in limp mode to prevent engine damage from spark-knock that it would be unable to detect.

I checked the connection it seems fine but the sensor looks a little rusty it still is powering down . I will buy a new one tomorrow and see if that works. What is spark knock it was making some loud nocking noises right before it would power down.

Spark knock is a term to describe Pre-ignition. It's basically a condition were the air/fuel mixture ignites before the spark plug does it. Some spark knock is normal, and is detected by the sensor and addressed. Severe cases can be caused by high engine temps and/or excessively lean (not enough fuel/too much air). Even though the knock sensor detects it, it's too sever for the ECM's program to deal with. At this point, engine damage can occur.

I dont think you are dealing with an overheating condition, but a lean condition is a possibility. Some of the causes: low fuel pressure, water in fuel, poor fuel quality (spoiled fuel), restricted injectors (spoiled fuel that has left deposits) faulty MAP or TPS sensor, plugged fuel filter (more then likely water), large vacuum leak (would idle like crap).
