    Bump Rail

I know I have asked this a few times in the past but its actually time to get serious about it, I need to put all new bump rails on. I dont know where to buy them, and I dont know how to form them around the corners.

    Thanks fellas!

Are you replacing the whole rub rail or just the insert?

Sourcing the rail is not hard, a local boat shop you trust can get it for you or online. I did a remove and replace on my Nautique. A very HOT day and some extra muscle is a must. The Hot temps make it easier to bend around corners and bow. I am not sure on Tige' if they use rivets or stainless screws? Sue a mild soap solution for the insert. PM me if you have any questions.

Sorry to jump in on this thread as a new user without introducing myself.
I (likely) will be purchasing a '99 2050 this weekend and I know the rub rail on the bow is damaged. Where can I source the new rail (not just the insert)? I looked at Taco and Boaters World, but I'm not sure which profile to get.

            Thanks for the help.
