Working through a few maintenance things, and bought 2 new generator belts (one was off and obviously stretched). When I got in there to look at it, I can't see how to get the belts on without taking the impeller housing off. Am I missing something?!

Cant remember for sure but I think you just have to remove the bracket that indexes the pump that keeps it from turning with the crank pulley. -
In case it helps anyone else out later: There were 2 bolts that hold on the bracket under the impeller housing, which also hold on the fuel filter. I took out the bottom bolt, and loosened the top one. I removed one end of the water line going to the fuel filter, and one of the large water hoses on the other side of the impeller. From there, I could get the new belts threaded through.Comment
