I promise I'm not a total idiot, but I can't figure this out. I had my boat mechanic remove it so that I could have the boat reupholstered over the winter. Now I can't get it back on.
I see the set screw and the Phillips screw.. but when I slide it on, and tighten the set screw, the entire thing still just turns. There's no "lock".
What could I be doing wrong?? How do I line everything up before installing?
