Anyone tried sucking the oil out from the dipstick? Has to be quicker than the slow drip of the drain line. Liquivac looks cheesy, anyone tried it?

Finally got to use the Mityvac today. I used it thru the dipstick hole and it sucked it out pretty quickly. Of course I warmed it up a little prior to trying it. Only thing I ran into, was it only pulled out about 3.5 quarts. I added another .5 quart for the filter and ended up at 4 quarts. That seemed a little low, so I went ahead and pulled the drain hose thru the drain hole and opened it up for about an hour and got a little over a half a quart more. I think what I will do next time is to adapt the Mityvac to fit the drain hose and suck it out thru the hose to make sure I get it all. All in all happy with how it worked.

I don't use this one, couldn't find the one I have. Mine is about 10 gal blue can that I use to suck the oil out and my Transmission oil out also. This will give you the idea.
