I had to replace my rulemate 500 bilge. The wiring on the boat is black, brown, and brown/white stripe. The wiring on the new rulemate 500 is black, brown, and brown/red stripe. I wired black to black, brown to brown, and brown/white to brown/red. No power to the bilge. I switched the wiring and connected brown/white from the boat to brown from the bilge, and brown from the boat to brown/red from the bilge. Switch worked great. Will the auto bilge still come on. I know I can test it the right way with water, but the boat is stored many many miles away. Did anyone else have this issue?
