    tower speaker polish?

My '04 Fusion tower speakers have a tarnished look to them and wax did not clean them up, so I was thinking about using a jewelry cleaner/tarnshih remover on them. Any thoughts on what works best? The Fusion site does not have any cleaning guidelines that I could find.

Right on, I will grab some. And yes, they are polished aluminum, sounds like I have one more thing to keep me busy with my boat detailing this summer!

Take those down one weekend, and have them clear coated or if you want color, powdercoated to match your boat. Polising looks good, but clearcoating keeps them looking good.

interesting idea, clearcoating, do you have a ballpark idea how much that would cost?

Clearcoating isn't expensive, maybe $50.00 on the high side. When your local paint shop is spraying a car, 5 minutes on your cans is easy.

I had the same problem with some boss cans and found the best stuff was (Eagle F1 NEVER DULL) @ Oriellys for like 5 bucks. Be prepared to spend some time and probably take them down, but well worth it makes em like new
