Winterize boat stored in insulated Garage?

I recently bought my boat and I store it in a insulated garage. Is winterizing the boat necessary? It rarely gets below freezing in Fresno,CA and it is much warmer in the garage. I would prefer not to winterize the boat as I would like to have the option to take it out in the winter.

    Thanks for any input/advice!

Put stabil in the gas if you are not going to be running it.

There are still things that need to be done on a yearly basis, even if you ride year round and dont store it for the full off season.

        Oil change
        Trans fluid
        V-drive fluid
        Add stabilizer to fuel
lube steering cable and grease rudder box
        Fuel/water sep filter

In the Spring, through in a new impeller.

Yeah, what chpthril said, but *throw* in a new impeller, and I'd unhook the battery(ies) if you're sitting the boat for a few weeks....just in case.

Just a short trip to Shaver Lake or Millerton from where you're at.
