Vinyl Upholstery Shop - DFW Area

    Hello Everybody,

I was wondering if anyone had any good leads on upholstery shops in the DFW area. I live right by DFW airport and looking for a place to get a few seats fixed on my Tige'. I have went to a couple of shops, but just feel like your taking one by the looks of their estimates.

    Thanks,

I just had my entire bench seat re-skinned on my RZ2. I provided the vinyl which came from the Tige factory and they installed it for me. They were fast and provided quality work. I am very happy with the way it turned out.

    They are located in Lewisville.

There is also another small shop called Bora Bora. He is located in Lewisville, I don't have a website or phone though. I took one of my seats there from my first Tige years ago and it turned out great.

DFW Boat Interiors in Keller, TX. I have had them do some work for me and they do a great job.

Have had issues with Lone Star Upholstery in Lewisville. Will not use or reccomend them.

Had a bass boat seat done from scratch by DFW in Keller and it turned out great. This is the last season for the Tige interior, and that will be the first quote I get.

Not to pry, but what was the quote and what was included? If you don't mind. Which shop did you use. Also, be sure and post pics when complete. What lake do you board on?

your RZ is only two years old and you had to have it re-skinned already? Well, I got about 2 years over you. I was working on the boat and noticed that one of the threads and area of stiching is comming apart on a cushion. Boat is not yet 4 years since we purchased it. Do you or anyone else know Who was the maker of the vinyl for TIGE in 2005?My last boat before the 05 tige took about 13-14 years for vinyl/stitching to start failing and it was abused and washed and cleaned with whatever was in the garage!

Picked up my re-covered seats from DFW Boat Interiors in Keller, TX. The quality of the work is very nice and the turn around time was 4 days as I was promised! The only downfall is that the color is a little off from the old seats, but that is to be expected from 7 year old vinyl. I would recommend DFW Boat Interiors and will use them again.

As requested, I've uploaded some pics of the repaired seats. They repaired the engine compartment seat, drivers seat bottom, and the front middle seat. Follow the link belowhttp://tigeowners.com/forum/showthre...113#post359113

Who do I talk to and how do I reach the person at Tige to order new vinyl for my 2001 Tige 21 V? I have some seams giving way and two cushons and want to get them redone....

For our age boats, they do not have replacement skins. They would have to custom make them. You will be better off finding a good interior shop and having them make them. I will be doing the same this winter.
