    cover exhaust fan ideas?

While covered on the lift, the interior of the boat does not dry out enough. Has anyone used an exhaust fan (e.g., scroll cage fan?) on a timer? I think I could run an exhaust hose out the walkthrough on the transom under the cover.

Wondering if anyone has been down this route and might have ideas?

Anyone have an opinion on one of these?

    "Air Dry"

Perhaps an AC blower mounted on something flat? Could run an outlet house out the back under the cover.

Several useful looking blowers are DC--since it is at the slip I would rather use an AC unit.

I am reluctant to cut into my Rankin cover

Excellent. Thanks for the link. I did search the forums but evidently not well enough.

Ordered four Eva-Dry E-500 units. Amazon has them for $23.

I like that they are "rechargeable", i.e., only need to be plugged in to dry out.

Still might try one Air Dry because it has a fan--will see how the passive rechargeable units do first.

Mine worked pretty well because I had to cover my boat so I couldn't leave any of the lockers open. I often had to put it away wet. I used them a lot for about 2 years. I now have covered storage in both places I store my boat, so I don't need them any more.

Bought four Eva-dry EDV-E-500 dehumidifiers. Noticed an immediate difference.

After purchase, got an e-mail with a promo code (EVADRY79) for $10 off EvaDry at Amazon. Here is a link.
