    average clean-up time

ok, so your done for the day and back home ready to clean it up.
How long is it taking you guy's to do a good cleaning before you put it up?
How many of you are putting fans on it, is that necessary?
If you going back out the next day do you clean it?

I clean up on the ramp, bust out the water/vinegar and windex and put the hole crew to work. Takes 10 min. No fans, I just pull the plug and leave the cover off for the drive home.

Same here. If you can, open the storage compartments so they can breath. I usually prop up the v-drive locker with a couple of dry life jackets.

Do all the cleaning at the ramp, anyone who came along knows they need to help clean and organize or they aren't welcome back. I clean even if we are going out the next day.
-Wipe down the outside with Babes.
-Take all the gear out and throw it in my truck.
-Wipe down the seats and interior.
-Pull the plug, strap it down and drive home.
        (10-15 minutes)

I put the cover on when I get home. The next morning I pull it off till around lunch.

Most of my trips are multiple day trips. I dont clean at the ramp.

I wait till I get home. Good wash and wax everytime. Clean and vacuum interior. I am seriously anal about cleaning the boat. At LEAST 4 hours for me but I dare you to get on your hands and knees and find a grain of sand anywhere on my boat!!!!

Im a bit over the top. But I love every minute spent on my boat wether its cleaning, maitenance, or doing what its intended for!!! LOL

It depends on how you use your boat. We started this season at 280 hours, and I am now just about at 350. We bring the boat in, put on lift, wipe down interior, clean up trash, cover boat. 10 - 15 mins. This is idea for us because we go out 3 times a week, unless really windy or raining or something. The great thing about living a few miles from lake and boat in slip is we just drive down to lake at 4pm on a weekday, and surf til 8pm or so and come in. It is like being out, only when conditions are perfect, and you don't have to take anything with you. You just walk on the boat, with a few bottled waters, and a few diet pepsis, and a bag of ice, and the ipod. That's it.

Then we take boat out every few weeks to give it a better cleaning. But it has taken me several years to get to this point. We used to at best go out every 2nd or 3rd weekend to colorado river when we lived in so cal. I sold my 1998 boat in 2007 with 270 hrs, and will have close to 500 hrs on my boat at the end of this season.

I do love babes boat bright, and babes vinyl cleaner even better. I LOVE the way that stuff smells.

so basically we're just wiping it down and then using some product on the fiberglass etc. How is the water/vinegar done, spray bottle? I agree about wiping it down at the ramp but I thought you would go home and get the water hose and soap on it after every outing??

Wipe it down with Babe's Boat Bright every time you pull it out of the water. It takes 5 min with some help.

We basically just wipe it dry with towels and was it a few times a year, it gets stored inside so mold never beccomes a problem anymore. We flip the removable seats to let them breathe and open the compartments up.

Yes, you def have to work less when you store inside. When my boat is in our warehouse, it doesn't even get dusty. Stays very clean.
