    Interior Maintenance

What are some good products you have found to clean your seats? The boat I just bought needs a thorough cleaning and I'm not sure what works the best with the least elbow grease.

I havent tried all the products people have been recommending but I tried the ZEP stuff and works good for me. Its called Carpet and Seat Cleaner. If I really want to scrub good Ill use a brush then wipe off. But other than that a little wipe after I go out with a towel keeps the seats white and clean.

My wife just scrubbed the upholstery with Murphy's oil soap.
We have White,Grey and Red interior and the white was looking dingy.
The oil soap really cleaned well and the vinyl is now softer and more flexible.
She used 1/2 cup in 1 gallon of warm water and then used a rag to wipe everything down. In a few areas She had to go over things twice.
We also use this on leather and vinyl seats in our cars and it works eaqually well.

SPBFan got setup as a dealer for Exquisite. Send him a PM, or contact him via www.automarinecare.com

I don't think it's carried in any stores.

                mold/mildew vinyl problem

I put the cover on a couple hours after getting done for the day - threats of rain. Then I went on vacation for 2 weeks. Must've been damp still. Came back to backs of seats getting mold or mildew started under the folds. Anything I can do to get rid of this?

How do ppl cover their boats without trapping water inside?

                Thanks in advance,
                Boone

Best product to use on your vinyl is EphX (previous known as Vinyl Finish Vinyl Cleaner) from GT industries. It's recommended in your Tige owner's manual.

Just do not use Magic Eraser. It will magically erase the protective layer that covers the vinyl and leave it dull and unprotected and subject to premature death. As the song says "Don't ask me how I know".
