    Faria Steps Up!

This is probably old news, but I am very psyched that Faria is replacing my 10 year old dead tach for $30 incl. shipping. That is an old school way of doing business that seems very rare nowadays and I was really pleasantly surprised at the fact that their return policy is so generous and easy to deal with.

Now comes the fun part... installing it! When I redid my 1997 boat, most of the wires were very brittle. Be very careful when working under there. I would get one fixed and another wire would break
If its not fun, Why do it?

Thanks for mentioning that; I'll tread lightly.

Faria has always been an excellent company to deal with, they have repaired mine twice over 10 years for about the same cost.

Does anyone know if the faux-chrome rings around the tach and speedo on the '07s are from Faria or Tige'? I had them replaced once under warranty, and the replacements are "delaminating", for lack of a better word, already. I don't particularly want the same thing again, but thought if I could find the source, I might could find some in real chrome, or even stainless.

You bet wakeboarding and motocross will drain the wallet in a hurry ,but not near as fast as teenage rehab
