Changed the oil, filter and impeller on my 2006 22Ve' earlier today. Oil and filter were easy enough (Thanks to all for the part #'s). Went with SAE 40 and a Fram PH5 filter.
As far as the impeller goes, worked it for one hour + and finally got it out. Still in new condition. Man, not much room behind the engine with that activity center. In any event, finally got the old one out, new one went in easily. Just bought a Jabsco Impeller Removal Tool from www.defender.com ~ $48 shipped to CA. Just like everyone else, the housing bolts weren't all that tight; assume Tige' didn't want to crush the gasket. One question though....my cover only had the gasket, but the new impeller came with a rubber o-ring too. Lee - what do I do with this?
