I"m replacing all my gauges with Faria chrome and came to the Taps gauge and now I'm stumped. Before I disconnect it I thought I should ask the people on the best boat site around. On the back of the Tapps gauge there is a power, ground, light and then 2 little green wires. On the Faria Trim gauge there is power, ground, light and then only 1 terminal for a sender wire. Can I put the 2 green wires from the Tapps gauge onto the 1 post on my new Faria gauge? I'm not sure why there is 2 seperate green wires.

Taps requires 2 sender wires. You can get a replacment gauge shipped to you from Texas Tige'. I spoke with Andrew at Tige when I replaced mine. They (Tige) just used a Faria blank, and it is not the same as the trim gauge from Faria. The part number you need is C2018. It was around $110 shipped, and was the most expensive instrument in my replacements.http://www.wakeboatworld.com
