    Get my bow cushions out.

    Please someone.....

How to you get access to the nuts behind this thing? Has anyone with an older model removed the bow wraparound. I cannot get my arm in there and there are at least 4 nuts I do not have access to. I would love to know how Tige' got this in there when they built it. Can anyone help me out? Suggestions? Done it before? Bueller.....Bueller? I am carrying my cushions to get some new threads, and I need to get this out of there. It is a 97, but I am sure all the boats form 95 to 99 or so went in the same way. Do I need to pull the support brackets off the bottom of the assembly or something? Maybe I need to send Tige' an email?????

It looks like mine are screwed in at the seams, I can see the screw when I separate the cushions at one of the seams.

I wish.....mine are built of treated lumber, and studded. Thos studs go into holes in the gunnel, and are held on by nuts over a fender washer. I can only access the rear two, the other 5 or 6 (I don't know how many are in the very front) are unreachable. The funny part is, there is no other way to get this in there. Tige had to assemble this the same way I am taking it out. The way it is built there is no "pre-assembly" access.

Are you sure it wasn't installed before the top half of the boat was installed with the bottom half? It would be really easy to reach them at that point.

I doubt it. The holes are marked, drilled, and even "massaged" to get the studs aligned. I think the key is going to be in the vertical supports under it. Those look like they are removable, but I am not sure.

OK guys....I am giving props to Tige' and an update on this. I shot Andrew Reyes a message and he promptly replied with "call me". I tagged his voicemail, and he called back before lunch (and I am a nobody to Tige'....great service!). He told me getting the ubacks out of the bow is a 2 man job. You have to loosen the mounting screws in the cushion supports, and have someone pull the seat back out while you reach in and take the nuts off from behind the cushion. Pry and pull method. Thanks Andrew!
