How to remove interior panels

2003 21i - hidden cleats coming lose. Easiest way to remove inner side panels to gain access to rear of cleat?

I have a 2004 21i so I assume they should be the same. Just tightened my cleats too because they were loose. The panels are held on by 6 or 7 - 2" screws that are hidden between the top and bottom seam on the panel. The nuts on the cleats are 1.25".
