The top will twist off (counter clockwise) , hold the stalk and turn top , they get tight and o ring dries out. WD-40 may help. -
The top as in from the lense up or the black above the lense? I've cranked and cranked on it and it feels like I'm going to break the whole piece off the stem..Comment

That looks similar to the one that was on our RZ2. The black top and lense will turn. It is a SOB to turn if has not been opened for awhile."You're rather attractive for a beautiful girl with a great body."Comment

I'll have to check on that silver top mike.. There is a seam below the lens but it didn't wanna break loose. No matter how hard I cranked.. I guess if I break it I can always wire in a new light, any upgraded versions I should look for if need be?Comment
