Servicing Indmar V Drive on 2015 Z3

my oil in V drive is too thick for my 12 volt extractor and wanted to see best way to get the thick oil out. My specs say it hold about 1.3 quart. It has original yellow 50 wt oil in it and was going to add back Indmar transmission oil? Is that correct? Thanks

It's a very special 50wt made by Mobil 1. We use the Amsoil 50wt synthetic transmission fluid as its better replacement. However, it's not a thick oil and should easily suck out so make sure your suction hose is not stuck to the bottom of the case or blocked. We use a hand pump fluid extractor sold at West Marine, better than any other option I've come across.
