Just bought a 2002 21v riders edition from car auction. They say it was winterized and mechanic did everything to it. What is the process I need to do now to get it ready for the water? Any tips or secrets to get it to running at its best?

I'd ask them what they do to winterize the boat (the mechanic, that is). Normally, it's just a matter of draining the water out of the engine block and sometimes they fog the cylinders. My advice would be to get a fake-a-lake (looks like a plunger with a hose connector) so you can start it up with water running through the cooling system. If you do this, DO NOT PUT THE BOAT IN GEAR and don't rev the engine up over 2000 RPMS. You can then inspect the cooling system for leaks.Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."
