    Lenco Actuator help needed

Ok I have the Taps 2 and it worked great last year.
First trip out this year and nothing. After doing some checking with my meter, I feel that the Lenco electromechanical Actuator is bad. This is why.
There are two wires that go from the control box to the Actuator. If I measured the voltage coming from the box, I get either 12vdc or -12vdc depending on the direction I press the taps switch. If I supply 12vdc to the wires going to the motor, nothing. (Is this correct, should I be able to supply 12vdc or -12vdc and make the motor move?) if so then, my motor is bad. This brings me to a second question. What is the part number for it! I found 101 B111 1 on it, but this number does not march any Lenco numbers I can fine.
This is for a 2004 SwitchV

Thanks for any & all info
    David W.

It does sound like the actuator has stop working. The number you see on the actuator could a special build item part number for Tigé as in special length and stoke compared to an off the shelf unit.

I have a friend here that just got a 04 switch i and his wasn't working. He took the actuator off and found a broken wire, so cleaned it and fixed wire.

Ok I was able to fix my problem.
It turned out that the bushing was stuck due to rust.
I was able to free it up, and oil it. I also used fogging oil to help control the rust.

I will try and put a how to, together on what I did
          Thanks

I've been struggling with a Lenco that doesn't work this year too. I changed out the switch and wires that run through the throttle handle and that didn't solve mine. Yours looks pretty rusty inside. I'll be curious to hear if you get it working.
