Can't supply you with the number but can tell you how to get the number.
The steering wheel cable should have a number printed on the outer sheath of the cable that shows the cable number. This can be located under the steering wheel. Then PM SBPFan with the number and he can order you a new cable for a great price.
Or if your # isn't there by the steering wheel (like mine wasn't), then you can go to the back of the boat, crawl underneath the motor and locate the cable. You'll find it printed somewhere back there.
Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.
tigetek - does your boat have a back mount rack steering system?
I think that no. is for the rack & pinion system.
Our boat uses a Teleflex - SSC5217 (17 ft) or Morse - 304411-000-0204.0 (204 in = 17 ft) for the Morse rotary helm steering system.
I think the back mount racks were used in the 2002 and newer boats.
Thanks for the replies everyone. I was lucky enough to find in some old file cabinets the various paperwork which came with the boat.. one of which was the install instructions and parts list for the Back Mount Rack System, Bezel, and Torque Brake kit (whatever that is). The part number for the steering cable, assuming 17 ft is correct for the 2100v is sc13417..
