I have a 2001 22i typeR boat an need to buy a new steering cable. Do I need to buy direct from Tige or does anybody known of a different outlet to purchase that will still fit with out any major modification?

There should be a model number on the sheeth of the steering cable. It's located near the helm's end of the cable.

No, you do not have to order it directly from Tige.

You can also PM CHPThril or SPBFan and they might be able to get you the cable.
