cold air intake

I have a 93 tige' 2000 SLM comp that i had for 15 years now (to cheap to buy a new one) the engine has a full MSD system in it. Has any one tried to put a cold air intake system in a tige'. There is only 3" from carb to cover.
I think something from a 98' Dodge durango might work? K&N and Air Aid all
make systems that might fit.

First, welcome to the site dozzer! It sounds like your 93 is doing just fine. What engine do you have?

I checked on using the K&N in place of my spark arrestor on my 97 TBI. It was a no go. You have to be very careful in swapping out the flame arrestor. It needs to be Coast Guard Approved.
