    Motor cover shocks

I am looking for replacement shocks for the motor cover, is there a decent website out there for Tige parts?

If they are the regular gas charged like on my 22i, you can get them at auto parts stores. Take one in with you and match it up.
I'm on a boat man. I got my flippy floppies....

      Superman,
If you end up buying from an auto parts store, post the brand and part number on the forum. Both of mine were missing when I bought the boat, and I'm not sure what size is supposed to be there.
      Thanks.

Just make sure the weight rating is correct, not only the length. Your closest Tige dealer should be able to give you this info for your boat.

When the shocks went out on mine I just measured the old ones, got the weight rating off the old one, and ordered new ones from an online marine store. I can't remember which one - West Marine, Boater's World, ect.

            Motor cover shocks

I have a 1998 PRE 2200 and I don't think that this was something included at the time. Can you add these after the fact. It's difficult working on the engine when the cover keeps wanting to fall down.

The other day I saw a kit - complete with struts and brackets - somewhere on the web. I just stumbled across it while looking for something else. It was one of these online catalog stores like Barts or Overtons.
