Props to TIGE customer service. I call Tige and spoke to someone about and he ALL Tige's have an offset. (I didn't know if I was a loud to post his name so I didn't).

THANKS TIGE FOR THE CUSTOMER SERVICE, called me back w/in 15 minutes. That is 2 in one wk for them.
Cool. BTW, Larry Mann has a Tige 20i. So, I'm sure your FAE will be dialed in for your boat.

Back in the day, the 3 blade 13X13 was pretty standard on the tournament direct drives. Then OJ can out with the 4Force, the 4 blade prop that was the rage in the mid to late 90's and even early 2000's.

When CNC props came about from ACME and then OJ. They could get more surface area so the 3 blade CNC prop was the choice for direct drives. And the pitches changed. I don't know exactly how that works. But a 13X13 OJ legend and a 13X12 OJ CNC prop have similiar RPM ranges.

All this is a generalization about tournament direct drives. Not the bigger direct drives and v drives.

I was just wanting to know is it worth the money to get my prop fixed? I do want to get a new prop now that I have read dogs other post. W/ just putting a new stereo and speakers and a FAE to the boat I need to wait a bit.

From what I can see in the picture it is definitely worth the difference in performance to have the prop refurbished. You've been using it anyway, just send it off after you winterize and you'll be ready next spring. If you decide to buy a new one next year you'll have a good spare on-hand.

Great, this is what I was hoping for.

My 2001 22i type R had a 4 blade from the factory as standard with the Black Scorpion engine.

If so, Is this something that can be fixed or will I need a new prop?
I had less damage on my Acme 537 and it would vibrate the floorboard.
I installed my backup prop, and problem fixed. Sent the prop to Acme to have it straighten and balanced. Was told it will make it as good as new. Cost 150. have not tried it yet, as I set it aside as my new backup. (I always take a backup to the lake. Hate to drive 3 hours and cut the day short due to a prop issue)

I would take the advice of whoever said buy a new acme 3 blade and get that one fixed as a spare, assuming you have the gear to pull and replace for a weekend saver. Our 99 21i hit hard 2 years ago and we did the alignment, fixed prop(factory SS 13x13), shaft, bearing and strut. Not as quiet/smooth as it was before even though (I think) it should have been better. The prop fix was the least expensive of it all and it is my uneducated opinion that we should have gone for a new prop at that time and kept the repaired one as a spare. Also realized that the rudder is offset on purpose for the rotation and getting the shaft out. By the look of your pics I'm surprised your boat doesn't roar.
