Just got a Mercury Service Manual Number 24 for our engine for $24 from eBay. There is another auction for one (250288257636, closes Sept.4) if anyone is interested. They get listed from time to time, patience is the key. The book is 1 3/4" thick and I think covers the engines in the chart below. The chart is not in this manual, it came from another listing. The manual covers the engine, engine mount adjustment, connector pin outs, diagnostic codes, raw water pump, and general info on Velvet Drives, Hurths and driveshafts. There are circuit diagrams, part no.s and good descriptions of system operation.

There's another manual just listed thru Sept. 24 for $29 Buy It Now - 190252115503.
After looking thru mine it doesn't really have part no.s.
There is a lot of good info about servicing/troubleshooting the engine.Comment
