I replaced the packing in my stuffing box this weekend with the Gore GFO packing and took the boat out for the break in run. I had the nut very loose and while sitting the boat was dripping about every other second. When I would shift into gear and get underway the dripping would stop. I thought that it was supposed to drip more with the shaft turning, but this is not what I saw. I loosened the nut several times with the same results. Does this sound normal?
