Make sure you bilge pump works.
Get a plactic bag and place it over the intake to slow the water down.Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein

The fix is easy but harder in your boat. G-money changed mine but I have more room than what you have available in the 24V. Water is almost a non issue if you place a plastic bag (supermarket style) over the intake under the boat. Use some dish soap and a few screw drivers and you can have the entire thing done with in 20 mins. Make sure you know which way the impeller plate goes back on or you can add a bunch of time to the project.
Honestly if your temp is at 150 it is not the impeller. Sounds like you might have problem with your temp relay or thermostat. Tige MD or Lee are the best source of problems like this on the boards.Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.

Have you ever changed out the impeller? If not, you're overdue. Some shops recommend yearly replacement, others every other year. They get brittle after a year or so, depending on use. Anything over 2 years and you're really gambling.Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."

Does this depend on how much you use the boat or is it just a good rule to go by? Our dealer said that the amount of hours we put on and the lake we boat in we would not have to replace it very often. Love this site ,learn something new almost every day.

Once this happens, it's not different than what happens to us. IMO, change every year for the sense of security.

Are there any detailed instructions to do this? I am going to replace mine as I keep pulling crap up the intake and making it over heat.2016 Tige Z3, 2014 Tige Z3
