Beeping Sound When Turning Key On???

I have a quick question i Have a 2001 Tige 21i and when I turn the ignition key over it beeps first before i start the boat..

The beeping is not consistant..

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions..

Mine beeps when the key is turned to the on position - this is normal. Are you saying yours doesn't beep every time?

Ya, it only beeps sometimes.. Im thinking it could possible be the fule injectors.. but I really dont know!

It should beep every time. However, sometimes if you turn the key to on and then immediately start the motor it will skip the beep. If the boat is running the way it usually does I would not worry about it.

cool, ya i just bought the boat last week and everytime seems to be running well .. thats the only thing that had me a little worried

Put a piece of electrical tape over the speaker under the dash. The beaping is so loud and annoying. Mine is still there but muffled.

Can you hear the alarm over your exhaust when towing a rider? You may have an engine alarm and not hear it which may lead to something more anying than the test beeps on startup.

You can still hear it, trust me. It just muffles it so it is not so peircing when you leave the key on.
