Good luck on that one. You will get the same thing I got from them just recently. "You need to talk with your dealer". Sorry for the bad news but I hear what you are saying.

Tige Corporate is not real friendly to end customers lately. Six weeks or so ago I was able to get help and info. Now dead ends.

I submitted an info request on the 2009's last night and got Lanny Regional Director responding by email today. Since I had him I asked for a couple of XL T-shirts to wear as advertising for them and I got the spiel that they were low on stock.

I finally Got fed up and will get brand specific T-shirts from the MC owners group and my brother in-law for a lot less than Tige wants. Was aggravated enough I emailed that back to Lanny. Somewhere somebody at Tige corporate forgot the customer and how to support them.

We never got back to the issue of 2009 literature because my 20V has only about 3 differences than the 2009. PCM, Gel coat Layout, and Colors are the key differences.

The TigeOwners group is the best thing Tige has going for them right now. A bunch of owners supporting each other in any way they can but other than
reunions which seem to be at the dealer level how much support does corporate give? I am glad all this info is here because I really like the 20V I bought and with this group I can get info that helps support meand my boat.

My dealers service group has been very good to me. The Service Manager and his crew for the most part have been great. I would rate them a middle 9. Sometimes a 10.

Sales disappeared right after the sale. Typical?

I described my concern to my dealer today about the African Teak swim platform. Heck the service manager was not aware of the issue because they have only been selling Tige for a few years. He had no idea that Tige got stuck with Iroko Wood so he will see if i can swap out for a fiberglass swim platform. At least my dealers service group is going to try!!

Ok just chill for a sec......

            Whats wrong with you boat?

We have gotten many problems resolved through tigeowners but if you pull a "wake" no one is going to want to help you.

First of all....props to my dealer and their service shop as I have said in other threads, theyve done all they can to make sure Im satisfied and taken care of. Heres the situation,
Couple of days ago took in my boat because I saw a small puddle about the size of my hand down inside by the trans plug and I figured it might be water but just to be safe I dropped down my surf line to get a whiff of it to make sure it wasnt FUEL and sure enough it was. My gas tank was full at the time. Took it in recently to my dealer and told them about it. turns out to be the fitting that connects the gas tanks vent hose. Tige said they will cover the tank but not the labor. Warranty reasons. I just dont think I should have to pay close to 300 bucks because of the manufacturers F--K up because some lazy assembler decided to not care and take no pride in his work. Again I dont think I should have to pay anything regardless if the warranty doesnt cover the labor or whatever. TIGE SHOULD!. Frankly this is frustrating. Turns out that my wife is tired of dealing with our boat and what I thought was gonna be an awesome investment, which it is, got her to say" shell never buy another TIGE again".
I dont think she means it but its frustrating to see I have to pay for some guys mistake in not taking his time to put together a 3 dollar part on such an important part that is so critical. I mean what if the Sh*t blew up on us then what??????????????. So I just think again that tige should step up an take care of this cause its not easy that I have toget hit in my wallet for their mistakes. Ill end this by saying to TIGE..."FILL THE GAS TANK TO VERIFY THAT ALL FITTINGS ARE TIGHT AND NOT HALF A$$ TIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry G MONEY. Im not rich or anything and I know the responsibility that comes with owning a boat and all, Im willing to pay for the services to ensure that my boat ALWAYS runs good. Im willing to pay whatever as long as the problem was a result of my cheap a$$ not willing to do it. This case it wasnt my fault and Im prob gonna have to pay for it. Just upset and venting. see I can still smile. Again my service shop...theyve always taken care of me and made me happy. just venting.......venting.............

I agree with you all warranty issues should be paid in full by tige that why you have a warranty. I have a few thing go under warranty and never paid a dime...... Wheel, gas sensor, swimdeck and gelcoat.

Why are you mad at Tige for upholding their end of the Warranty Agreement? Kinda sounds like you are being unreasonable in asking/expecting them to do MORE then they are obligated to do!

If I'm not mistaken, 06 has a 1 yr warranty and 07 has a 3 yr warranty (1st yr parts and labor, 2nd/3dr = parts only) if so, they have gone above and beyond the warranty for you by supplying parts.

Do you expect your car/truck manufacturer to fix your car under warranty for you after after it is out of warranty???

Good point on warranty, but that depends on when he bought the boat, we got our 2005 in 2006. Maybe he got his 2006 in 2007???

Its just a problem that I believe originated from the maker and thus I shouldnt have to pay for the labor. I understand the warranty and all. Like I said If I did it fine ill pay. But I didnt make this manufacturer booboo. But guess thisll be the last time. Again I say,"My service department helping me out as much as they can...thanks guys!".

I hear you Juice. Same argument that I have with the board under one of my seats breaking. They paid for the board but I had to have someone re-upholster that thing and then I had a gel coat issue that they didn't cover that was out of warranty but the fiberglass needed to be re-enforced in that same area that Tige took care of. Not sure if the gel coat cause the fiberglass to become an issue.
