    Warning...Stupid Question

On a 2006 20V with the GM Vortec 340 HP, is there an impeller part for cooling, or is that the older motors? I have heard about changing that part when winterizing, but is that on the 2006 GM Vortec 340 HP?

Question is far from stupid if you don't know the answer. The answer is yes the Vortec does use an impeller. What I don't know for sure is if the 2006 GM Vortec 340HP is a Marine Power marinized motor or a Merc. If you are a do it your selfer the Block is stamped Marine Power if it is one.

If you need an impeller you can buy one from one of the members. Contact SPBFAN and he can set you up with what you will need.

      He has the MP 340?

It has GM Vortec on the air filter cover.
