How to get lake temp on Z1

Been out on the Z1 a few times now and am really enjoying it. Surfed for the first time on Thursday - very cool. Great wakeboard wake. Slalom wake is a bit "hard" - not all THAT big, just hard, you definitely have to get the ol' knees working as you cut across the wake. Okay for a free skier like me. Don't know how well it will do going through the course.

The only real complaint I have so far is the lack of a lake temp indication. Who makes a watersports boat with no lake temperature?????

I noticed the boat comes with the Airmar Triducer which has depth, speed and temp sensors. So any ideas how to get that lake temperature to display up front on the dash?

    Thanks!

Do you have the Tige Speedset cruise on yours? If so, check this thread:

Wo, if someone with Z1 confirms that that works, please let me know. I . Going to try that this weekend. Odd though that WWS didn't mention that was an option. Thanks Timmy.

I don't know that it is - I just know that the Speedset on my RZ2 has those options.

I'm heading down to my dealer on my weekly meeting with them on Wednesday. i will talk with them about this. I find it hard to believe that there isn't a water temp gauge.

There definitely is no factory temp gauge on the dash and I knew that when I ordered the boat, but was not happy that it isn't even available as an option. Strange that the Z1 is the only boat in the Tige line with no lake temp. There MUST be some way of fixing that.

I have speed set, but it uses the digital window integrated into the speedo gauge - 3 lines: one for depth, one for actual speed and one for set speed.

I just happened to notice the triducer in the hull and thought I'd ask you guys if there is any way to access the temp info in the triducer somehow.

Maybe this is a question for Harvey or Lee?

The Tri-ducer pickup is the available option to get for the air and water temp.

That would be nice if there is a way to easily add the gauge or if that speedset trick works.

Does anyone else know of a secret hidden gas fillup on the starboard side of the Z1????? Another item I wish they would have included.

The way I interpret it is, the current LCD gauge will display the water and air temp, you just have to upgrade to the Tri-ducer pickup. Not 100% sure if this is right, just my understanding.

My (SwitchV) 20V has a paddle wheel in the back. The wire from the paddle wheel connects to the back of the speedo. But there are also a couple of wires that don't connect to anything. What are the chances that some of these wires will have a temp reading? If so, where can I get a gauge to hook them up to?

chpthril, the triducer is there already in the Z1. The problem is there is no display up on the dash... there is no settings with the speedset to show the air/water temp. It sure would be nice to swap a 20V gauge package into the Z1 to allow the temp to show.
