Really bad shake!!! Help please

I am getting a really bad shake at anything over 4100RPMs and the boat was topping out at 37mph. The prop looked fine and I find it very hard to believe that I bent the shaft. I did however notice the clip looks like it needs to be tightened down.

Any suggestions what this could be!?

This is on my 07 20V!

Vibration, and loss of top speed, my first guess would a bet prop. 2nd would be a dead miss (engine skipping/cylinder not firing) under load.

I would guess prop, but on an 07 20V I'd call your dealer and have it looked at under warranty.

I agree with sparky216. Prop would be first guess, but on a new boat, I would just let my dealer take look at it.

I'd start with the prop and then have them check the shaft alignment, but I will tell you that you can bend your shaft without a bent prop.

It would be unusual for sure, but I bent my shaft, strut and rudder. My prop was hardly damaged. I'd hit a submerged log that got driven into the rudder by the prop.

You can bend your shaft by getting sideways on your trailer.

Pull off the prop and set it on something level, like a glass top table. If it's off the slightest bit, it will cause vibration.
